of Senate -- Election -- Powers.
A
President of the Senate shall be elected by each Senate as soon after its organization as
possible and as often as there is a vacancy in the office of President, another President
of the Senate shall be elected by the Senate, if in session. And if, during the vacancy of
the office of Governor, the Lieutenant Governor shall be impeached and removed from
office, refuse to qualify, resign, or die, the President of the Senate shall in like
manner administer the government.
