Pardon
of person convicted of dueling.
The
Governor shall have power, after five years from the time of the offense, to pardon any
person who shall have participated in a duel as principal, second or otherwise, and to
restore him to all the rights, privileges and immunities to which he was entitled before
such participation. Upon presentation of such pardon the oath prescribed in Section 228
shall be varied to suit the case.
